Thank You for Supporting Tapestry 2018!
Jane Seymour, Emmy and Golden Globe-winning actress, author, artist, designer, mother, grandmother, and philanthropist delighted the audience of 1,600 who attended the 17th annual Tapestry, A Day for You, Friday, April 27, at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum. Best known for her starring role on Dr. Quinn: Medicine Woman, shared stories of her life and how she learned to embrace changes, turn them into strengthening tools, and manage even the toughest personal and professional situations.
Tapestry was a wonderful day of inspiration, renewal, and education for women in all stages of life. The annual event celebrates the fabric of women and recognizes outstanding female role models in our community. But most importantly, it helps students further their education through the Tapestry Parkview Endowment and Scholarship Fund. Over the last 17 years, Tapestry has raised nearly $1 million in scholarship funds and awarded scholarships to 89 students.
We invite you to check back for news of next year's event, to be held Friday, April 19, 2019.
